This two-semester Victory Life Institute training program is designed to prepare students for lay ministries of counseling within the context of the local church or individual ministry. This program will prepare students to utilize a proven counseling model and other counseling techniques to minister to the needs of the spirit, mind, and body of persons you come in contact with from day to day. The Christian Care Giving Program will benefit:

• Sunday School teachers and group leaders who need to minister to group members
• Church leaders who have informal counseling opportunities with group members
• People who have family members and friends with problems such as drug addiction, alcoholism, divorce, loneliness, depression, and suicide
• Lay Care Giver volunteer applicants of Victory Life Counseling Ministries

Foundations of Christian Care Giving
This course will lay the foundations essential to defining a Christian approach to counseling. Students will learn how to foster an atmosphere of change, love and hope in a caring relationship, understand the importance of bonding and separation, and apply a wholistic approach to human suffering.

Wise Counsel
This course is one of two required courses (See pre-requisite below) that will prepare you to utilize a proven counseling model and other counseling techniques to minister to the needs of the spirit, mind, and body of people you come in contact with from day to day.
